St Neots Neighbourhood Plan – make sure you have your vote…

On Thursday 4th February residents are invited to vote in a poll for the St. Neots Neighbourhood Plan.

The referendum is asking: “Do you want Huntingdonshire District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for St. Neots to help it decide on planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”

Voting “Yes” can be nothing but a good thing for our town…

Essentially, for St. Neots residents, voting “Yes” would mean

– that the town has greater control over planning policy

– it will bring more money into the town through an increase in the taxes placed upon new developments via the community infrastructure levy rise that would take place if the Neighbourhood Plan was in place.

I grew up in Eaton Ford and currently live in Eaton Socon with my husband and young sons.
I joined Bennett Lorusso in April 2015 after working alongside them for many years providing aftersales progression, and weekend office cover. I am now responsible for Accounting and Aftersales, amongst other tasks!
I have mainly worked in and around St. Neots, with a short spell over in Huntingdon. In my career so far I have achieved qualifications with both the Association of Accounting Technicians and the Certificate of Mortgage Advisory Practice. The latter is a key benefit to my current role, which has helped me develop a strong understanding of the processes involved in the whole aspect of house buying, selling and after-sales progression therein.
I absolutely love our pretty little town. I get to see quite a lot of it through my recently acquired running habit. I enjoy cooking, and love eating – hence the running! Otherwise I enjoy relaxing after chasing a nearly 4 year old around all over the place with a nice glass of wine and the odd bar of chocolate.
